09/06/2015: Second Sunday in NOLA

Today was a pretty good day.  We started off with a service at St. Charles St. Presbyterian Church, the church that founded Project RHINO (rebuilding hope in New Orleans) and that housed my senior high mission trip back in 2006.  I never saw much of the church itself when I was first here, but I finally got to see the sanctuary.  I must say that it was rather beautiful.  After, my housemates and I went to Seafood Fest, and even though it was hotter than I’ve felt here, it had some really good music and great food.  We didn’t stay for long though because of the heat, which was probably for the best.  The rest of the day was spent playing games and laying around the house.  So, it has been a rather good day on the whole.  I look forward to what tomorrow might bring and what sort of festivities, if any, the great city of New Orleans has for Labor Day.  So, until then, may God bless you in all you do.
